The signing ceremony was attended by leaders such as Stephen Varty, Chief Executive Officer of Chisholm Institute, and Qu Fan, Vice President of LZPU. The event also attracted relevant heads from LZPU's Teaching Affairs and Practical Training Administration Office, the International Exchange Department (School of International Education), the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the School of Automotive Engineering.

At the signing ceremony, Qu Fan warmly welcomed the Chisholm Institute delegation on behalf of LZPU and highlighted Liuzhou's rich culture and history as a century-old industrial city. He also showcased LZPU's notable achievements in school-enterprise cooperation and major development, reinforcing its status as a leading vocational education provider in China. Qu stressed the vital role of vocational education in social development and noted the significant learning value of Australia's Technical and Further Education (TAFE) concept. He looked forward to deepening cooperation between the two institutions in areas such as curriculum development, teacher training, and student exchanges, with the goal of jointly exploring new paths for vocational education and cultivating high-quality professional talent.

Stephen Varty expressed his gratitude to LZPU for the warm reception and provided a detailed introduction to the advantages and features of Chisholm Institute in vocational education. He praised LZPU's innovative concepts and practical achievements in China's vocational education sector, particularly the school-enterprise cooperation training base model. This model offers students a practice platform closely aligned with enterprise needs, fosters deep cooperation and resource sharing between schools and businesses, and facilitates positive interactions between talent development and industrial growth. Chisholm Institute was eager to introduce this model to enhance its practical teaching methods and improve the quality of talent training. Additionally, Stephen Varty expressed significant interest in LZPU's new energy vehicle program. He hoped to gain deeper insights into its development and experience through collaboration and introduce it to Australia to support talent training for the local new energy vehicle industry.

The signing ceremony for cooperation between LZPU and Chisholm Institute enables the sharing and complementarity of educational resources between both institutions. The event also signifies a shift in China-foreign vocational education cooperation from one-way learning to a new stage of equality and mutual growth. As an active explorer of international education, LZPU has successfully integrated advanced models such as the dual vocational training system from Germany and the apprenticeship system from the UK, and has achieved localized innovation with remarkable results. Integrating the TEFA elements from Chisholm Institute will further enrich LZPU's international education offerings, broaden students' global perspectives, provide diverse learning pathways, and give fresh impetus to international vocational education exchanges. Moving forward, LZPU is committed to deepening international cooperation with an open mindset, enhancing the level of educational internationalization, and striving to cultivate high-quality talent with both a global vision and exceptional skills.
